Safety first... Newbie mistake! Not for the weak at stomach

So, you know you can purchase safety glove so that when your cutting fabric you don't cut yourself. I thought that was the silliest thing. Really! What dummy would cut themselves? Well, you guessed it... ME!
So from now on, safety gloves for this girl!

    Interesting blog, hope you will post more.
    You are doing great with the quilting, saw your blog link at the yahoogroup home quilting systems. DH has set up my mid-arm but I have yet to start playing. Like yourself I want to quilt charity tops for others (and my own quilts).

      Thank you for the kind words. I am having so much fun quilting, just wish I could do that full time. It is just so relaxing (except when I'm cutting myself). :)
      You should get you a practice piece or a quilt top you aren't really crazy about and just start doodling. I learned from my grandmother and a group of ladies from town (that I meet in a coffee shop and have never seen again), there is not ugly quilt or quilting. They are all as unique as their creator.
      Just jump in... I'm here if I can help in anyway. Still new and learning myself, so we can all learn together. :)
