Quilting In Progress...

Today's little beautiful is a log cabin for a baby girl!  I had every intention in quilting lady bugs just because the design was so cute and I am dying to try it. Well guess what, the quilt once on the frame said "absolutely not" to the lady bugs. :)
If you look closely at the fabric, there are hearts everywhere...
So, a heart design it is
Hears and a few daisies.... I think it is beautiful and the quilting isn't to tight so it will be soft and cuddly for this sweet customers new grandbaby!

Quilting In Progress...

Almost missed this one.... As you can see we are nearing the end.  :)
This is Bonnie Hunters 2014 Mystery Quilt, Grand Illusions.  I can wait for it to get finished as it is a gift for a little special friend.
"Thelma" is doing the quilting on this one and doing a great job!
While "Thelma" is doing her thing, I can monitor it on the tablet...
And I can be working on the binding of a customer memory quilt.
This is a very productive morning at Stitches N Stories Quilting!

Quilting In Progress...

So I always say that every quilt has its own story.  This one truly does!
This customer spent some time in the Peace Corp in Africa and prior to leaving ask a tailor to make her a "bed cloth" from her garments.  He had never made a quilt before but did a pretty good job!
She then brought it back the the United States were a friend pieces the backing together and brought it to me. :)
I've this quilting design and Thelma is doing a beautiful job quilting.  (Thelma is my machine in case you didn't know that.
The stories are what I love about quilting!

Quilting In Progress...

Today's beauty is the Star Burst pattern that I design.  Pieces by swee Beth.  She is not comfortable with scrappy so this was a stretch for her.  :)
Great job done!
And a close up....

Quilting In Progress...

Today's quilting in progress is a great memory quilt for a sweet young lady.
She lost her father at a very young age and I am honored that she chose me to help preserve those memories.
Carly, I hope you enjoy!
Now for a label and binding!  Let's GO! quilting!
