Quilting In Progress...

Today's quilting in progress is this awesome flannel with fabric from Moda.

This client didn't want heavy quilting so we are going a wonky square grid that will look similar to....   

On a 3" scale since her piecing is at 3" increments.  The wonky lines will be in the middle of the pieces, not in the seams.

Still when doing simple design,  there is work to be done to make sure the outcome is great.

See all the little yellow dots.  Those are my targets.  I am not trying to be spot on but do want to keep the 3" grid as much as possible.

The finished quilt is great, especially for something manly with light quilting.  It is one of my favorites.

So, let's GO! Quilting....
