Quilting In Progress...

Today's project is another oldie... It is from my client that found a trunk of Grandmothers in the attic.

I am ready to step out of the meandering world and do some good custom quilting.  Just got to finish these client quilts.

What a lovely client quilt I had the pleasure of working in.

My client said this was her grandmothers.  She "reverse quilted" the entire quilt so that we could put a new back on it for her daughter.

I added some sweet flowers inside the baskets.  :)

Once again I am honored to play a small part in preserving a quilt for future generations.

Today's quilting in progress is a cute Alabama quilt that Janelle made for her husband.  He is gonna love it.

Today's beautiful quilt has a sweet story.  A customer contacted me and said she had a quilt she had started over nine years ago and wanted to have it quilted.  It is her one and only top every. We decided on some meandering stars.  

You may notice somethings a little unusual for longarm quilting.  She really had planned to quilt this herself.  She did an GREAT job of basting the quilt sandwiches together.  I was impressed with how straight it was.  Time just got away and she wasn't able to finish it.  Maybe we can get her to a class soon and she can start again doing something she enjoyed.  :)
